Dr. Patel is a native of India.
She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in biology at Madras University, India. She earned her doctor of medicine degree from Stanley Medical College in Madras, India in 1984. She completed her residency in Pediatrics at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in 1992. For the last 10 years she was practicing in Lebanon, TN with Dr. Wiggins.
She is Board Certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Cumberland Pediatric Foundation, Tennessee Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

You are encouraged to call during office hours with any questions about your child's health. Many times illnesses can be cared for at home. You should be prepared to discuss your child's symptoms, temperature, and medications on hand when you call. Our office staff will usually take your message after consultation, either they or the doctor will return your call at the earliest possible time. If you have an emergency and cannot wait to have the call returned, please say so.
